Paul Davis, DVM
Dr. Davis was born and raised in Guthrie, OK. He attended Oklahoma State University where he studied Animal Science before graduating with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. After graduation, Dr. Davis relocated to Boston where he spent 6 years working as an associate in a 24 hour practice. He returned to Oklahoma in 1998 and took over as owner of Santa Fe Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Since 1999 the Board of Veterinary Practitioners has certified him as a diplomat in Canine and Feline practice. Less than one percent of all active veterinarians worldwide will achieve this status.
Dr. Davis and his wife Tanya have been married since 1989 and have raised their four children in the Edmond School district. Ben and Hope, the oldest two, have moved on to college. Ben is in Stillwater, OK at Oklahoma State University while his twin sister Hope attends The University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. Grace and Kate, the younger two, are attending Summit Middle School. They currently share their house with 2 cats as well- Ritchie and Dewey.
In his spare time Dr. Davis's interests include family time, travel, history, and sports. The teams he roots for include OSU, OKC Thunder, and the Boston Red Sox. Dr. Davis recently served a four-year term as Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts Troop 89.
Katie Knotts, DVM
Katie grew up in Noble, OK where she enjoyed being around all the family animals including dogs, cats, horses, and goats. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she was a member of the University cheerleading team and Delta Zeta Sorority. During college, she was a research assistant for a collared lizard ecology study at Lake Arcadia and a peer tutor for animal biology. She also worked in the education department at the Oklahoma City Zoo. She began working at Santa Fe Vet clinic her senior year in college as the receptionist, then moved to assistant before being admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. During her time at OSU, she was a member of Omega Tau Sigma, a veterinary fraternity as well as the Bayer Animal Health and Elsevier publishing student representative. She graduated in 2014 and is excited to start developing relationships with your family.
She also has recently signed on as a teacher at OSU-OKC teaching classes in the Vet Tech Program. She looks forward to educating new students who aspire to be in the veterinary field.
Katie's husband, Ben works for Newmark LSB, a commercial real estate company in Oklahoma City. In their spare time, they enjoy cooking, traveling, and playing team sports. They share their lives with two dogs, Peaches and Pearl, and one cat, Belle.
Lisa Rodin, DVM
Dr. Rodin grew up in Fremont, California. She attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington where she received her Bachelors in Biology. She then continued on to graduate at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She went on to work with poultry for a few months before settling at a small animal practice. She has recently joined our clinic as our new associate veterinary in the summer of 2017.
Lisa’s husband, Anthony, is a professor at Southern Nazarene University teaching political science. The have two sons together, Logan and Donovan. They also share their lives with two cats, Orion and Goliath. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, reading and quilting.
Brittnea Fugate - Vet Assistant
Brittnea was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Central Oklahoma. She recently graduated with her degree in Sociology. In her free time, she is usually found watching movies, The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones. Of course, she is always snuggling with her fur babies in the process. She has her rescue cat, Binx, and her new puppy dachshund, Bodhi Dixon. Brittnea hopes to use her degree to work for a non- profit organization in the future.
Kelsey Peeler - Receptionist
Kelsey has lived in Edmond, Oklahoma her whole life. She graduated in May 2014 from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business Management and minor in Finance Real Estate. In addition to the clinic, she also works part time as a realtor for Kevo Properties. Kelsey loves spending quality time with her family. She is the oldest of her siblings. She has 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Her sister, Kinsey also works for the clinic as a Kennel Tech. She also enjoys traveling, reading, singing and watching Netflix with her fiancé, Travis, and miniature schnauzer, Sadie.
Crystal Hancock - Vet Assistant
Crystal has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2008. She currently lives in Yukon with her husband Eric and their posse of pets. Crystal is an animal lover of all kinds including her two bunnies, Mary and Lyonal. She also shares her life with her two pups, Lucky and Lola. When Crystal isn't buried in a pile of snuggles with all her pets, you will find her outdoors or spending time with her family. Her favorite free time activities include playing softball, as well as, fishing.
Kinsey Johnson - Kennel Technician
Kinsey was born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. She is currently as senior at Edmond North High School and anticipates going to the University of Central Oklahoma to get her degree in education. She has 2 sisters and a brother. Kinsey really enjoys her down time, usually spending it reading, singing, cooking and her favorite past time, swinging in her backyard listening to her music. She has always been a huge lover of animals which led to her decision to go vegan about a year ago. She has several pets at home including 3 dogs named Nala, Freya and Shadow. She also has 2 cats, Henry and Archie, and a fish named Cornelius.
Katie Lilly - Vet Assistant
Katie is from Texas but grew up overseas. She is the mom to two fur babies with her husband James. She has a golden retriever named Tucker and a great dane named Lana. In her free time, she likes watching her favorite sports teams play, Texas Tech and the Denver Broncos. Katie’s hobbies include going to the gym and photography.
