Paul Davis, DVM
Dr. Davis was born and raised in Guthrie, OK. He attended Oklahoma State University where he studied Animal Science before graduating with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. After graduation, Dr. Davis relocated to Boston where he spent 6 years working as an associate in a 24 hour practice. He returned to Oklahoma in 1998 and took over as owner of Santa Fe Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Since 1999 the Board of Veterinary Practitioners has certified him as a diplomat in Canine and Feline practice. Less than one percent of all active veterinarians worldwide will achieve this status.
Dr. Davis and his wife Tanya have been married since 1989 and have raised their four children in the Edmond School district. Ben and Hope, the oldest two, have moved on to college. Ben is in Stillwater, OK at Oklahoma State University while his twin sister Hope attends The University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. Grace and Kate, the younger two, are attending Summit Middle School. They currently share their house with 2 cats as well- Ritchie and Dewey.
In his spare time Dr. Davis's interests include family time, travel, history, and sports. The teams he roots for include OSU, OKC Thunder, and the Boston Red Sox. Dr. Davis recently served a four-year term as Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts Troop 89.
Katie Knotts, DVM
Katie grew up in Noble, OK where she enjoyed being around all the family animals including dogs, cats, horses, and goats. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she was a member of the University cheerleading team and Delta Zeta Sorority. During college, she was a research assistant for a collared lizard ecology study at Lake Arcadia and a peer tutor for animal biology. She also worked in the education department at the Oklahoma City Zoo. She began working at Santa Fe Vet clinic her senior year in college as the receptionist, then moved to assistant before being admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. During her time at OSU, she was a member of Omega Tau Sigma, a veterinary fraternity as well as the Bayer Animal Health and Elsevier publishing student representative. She graduated in 2014 and is excited to start developing relationships with your family.
Katie's husband, Ben works for Newmark LSB, a commercial real estate company in Oklahoma City. In their spare time, they enjoy cooking, traveling, and playing team sports. They share their lives with two dogs, Peaches and Pearl, and one cat, Belle.
Bailey Richardson-Vet Assistant
Bailey graduated from Santa Fe high school in 2013. She loves to travel and thrift shop. She also is a big fan of Mexican food! She and her boyfriend have a German Shorthair pointer named Zoe, and the cutest gray kitty, Ava.
Brittnea Fugate- Vet Assistant
Brittnea was born and raised in Dallas, TX and moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Central Oklahoma where she is majoring in Sociology.
Brittnea enjoys reading, crafting, and movie watching. She shares her life with her sweet dachshund, Ginger.
Kelsey Peeler- Receptionist
Kelsey has lived in Edmond, OK her entire life. She graduated in May 2014 from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Business management and minor in Finance Real Estate. She is also a part time realtor with Coldwell Banker.
Kelsey has a 4 year old miniature Schnauzer named Sadie. She enjoys to read, watch Netflix, sing, and snuggle with Sadie!
